On-Site & Workshop Notes

• Ensure the pipe ends are cut square and deburred before applying solvent cement to this drainage part.

• Clean both the pipe exterior and the fitting interior with a dedicated pipe cleaner to remove grease and debris.

• Apply a uniform layer of solvent cement and insert the pipe fully into the socket, giving a quarter turn to distribute the adhesive.

• Allow at least 24 hours for a full chemical cure before subjecting the joint to high-temperature water or pressure tests.
