This Verde green trim integrates seamlessly with stone-coated steel roofing systems. It protects the roof perimeter from wind uplift and moisture penetration while maintaining a uniform aesthetic across the entire roofline.

Built for the Job

Roofing contractors install this component at the rake of the roof where the tiles meet the gable wall or barge board. The primary function of this gable trim is to divert water away from the structural timber and prevent rain from being driven under the roofing sheets. It acts as a protective cap that covers the gap between the roof deck and the vertical fascia. Because it uses an Aluzinc steel base, the material resists corrosion even in coastal environments or areas with high humidity. Site supervisors prefer this specific profile for its rigidity and ease of fastening during the final stages of roof dry-in.

On-Site & Workshop Notes

• Install the gable trim starting from the eave and working upward toward the ridge to ensure correct water shedding overlaps.

• Secure the flashing using 50mm serrated galvanized roofing nails driven through the side flange into the barge board.

• Maintain a minimum overlap of 100mm between consecutive units to ensure a leak-proof seal along the rake edge.

• When cutting the material to length at the ridge, use tin snips or a cold-cutting saw to avoid damaging the protective stone coating.
