On-Site & Workshop Notes

• Always allow the timber to acclimatize in the specific room of installation for at least 48 to 72 hours before laying to prevent post-install gaps.

• Ensure the subfloor moisture content is below 12% using a calibrated meter to prevent adhesive failure or wood warping.

• Maintain a 10mm to 15mm expansion gap around the perimeter of the room, which can be covered by skirting boards or scotia moldings.

• Use a high-tack polyurethane flooring adhesive applied with the correct notched trowel for maximum surface contact.

• For finishing, follow a sanding sequence starting from 40-60 grit for leveling up to 120 grit for the final smooth surface before applying sealants.
