The Dr. Fixit Raincoat Coating provides a high-build elastomeric barrier for external vertical walls. This acrylic-based system seals hairline cracks and prevents water ingress while allowing the substrate to breathe. It is engineered for concrete, plastered walls, and masonry surfaces in residential or commercial projects.

Built for the Job

Exterior facades face constant thermal stress and moisture exposure, leading to micro-cracks in standard masonry paint. This waterproof membrane replaces traditional exterior finishes by creating a flexible, thick layer that moves with the structure. It prevents carbonation and chloride ion diffusion, which are primary causes of rebar corrosion in reinforced concrete. Site supervisors specify this material for high-rainfall areas where standard decorative paints fail to stop dampness from penetrating the internal plaster layers.

• Clean the substrate thoroughly to remove moss, grease, and loose particles before application.

• Always apply a dedicated primer coat to ensure maximum adhesion on porous masonry surfaces.

• Do not dilute the topcoats; use the liquid directly from the container for optimal film thickness.

• Ensure the surface is in a saturated-surface dry (SSD) condition if applying in extremely hot weather.
