• Ensure the mortice pocket is cut to the exact depth of the case to prevent the faceplate from sitting proud of the door edge.

• When reversing the latch, pull the bolt forward and rotate 180 degrees before snapping it back into the housing.

• Avoid using heavy oils or grease on the lever mechanism; a small amount of dry graphite powder is recommended for lubrication.

• Check the centers (usually 57mm) between the spindle hole and the keyhole before drilling to ensure perfect handle alignment.
