PPR Female Threaded Elbow

The PPR Female Adapter Elbow 20mm provides a high-pressure transition between PPR pipework and threaded metallic components or sanitary fixtures. This fitting integrates a precision-machined brass insert within a Polypropylene Random Copolymer body to ensure leak-proof connections in hot and cold water systems. It is engineered for socket fusion welding on the 20mm side while offering a standard 3/4-inch female thread for valves, taps, or flexible hoses.

On-Site & Workshop Notes

  • Ensure the heating tool is set to 260°C before attempting the socket fusion weld on the 20mm port. Do not over-rotate the fitting once the pipe is inserted to avoid weakening the bond. When tightening threaded metallic accessories into the brass insert, use a spanner on the hexagonal molded section of the fitting to prevent stress on the plastic-to-metal bond. Always perform a pressure test before closing wall cavities or screeding over the installation.
