• Place a gutter support bracket within 150mm of the elbow to prevent sagging at the corner joint.

• Apply a thin layer of silicone lubricant to the seals if the fitting features rubber gaskets for easier insertion.

• Ensure the guttering is cut square and deburred before inserting into the elbow socket to maintain a waterproof seal.

• Allow for thermal expansion by not bottoming out the gutter length completely into the socket depth.
